Learn about our work
With You We Can is developing better responses to sexual violence through knowledge, connection and advocacy. If we create understanding around our criminal justice system, not just for the victims going through it but for the general public who might not otherwise engage, we are better placed to reform it.
Knowledge
We develop resources in partnership with experts, advocates and services to prepare victim-survivors and educate the public.
Connection
We connect stakeholders across the sector to streamline service delivery and amplify outcomes.
Advocacy
We work with communities, institutions, and policymakers to improve access to justice and understanding of sexual violence.
You are not alone.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are you a counselling service?
No, we are not a counselling service. We are a network of sector experts, led by passionate victim-survivors who want to empower others using our living expertise.
Is your resource free?
Our resource is free! Reporting a perpetrator is a public service… the provision of information about how to do that and what’s expected of you is the bare minimum.
Where do you get your information?
Our resource is uniquely informed by both lived experience and sector experts. Guidance is created by combining a diversity of lived experience from victims and frontline services across the country with official police and legal policies, to reflect what happens in practice (not just on paper).
Some information and language varies between states – while we try, we cannot account for how every difference between police stations and DPPs may manifest.
Will you give me the right advice?
We can’t be sure to give you the right advice, because the right advice is different for everyone. What we can do is give you correct and honest information, so that you can be informed and prepared to choose what’s right for you.
